Don Dorcey died January 7, 2018 after a long, irreverent and humorous battle with cancer. His partner of 20 years, Mike Morse, was at his side. 
Don was born June 26, 1967 in Rockford, Illinois to parents Donald Sr. and Catherine Dorcey and was raised in Beloit, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents.
He is survived by his partner Mike Morse; sister and brother-in-law, Debbe and Tim Kinsey Sr. of Merrill Wisconsin; nephews Donnie Kinsey and Timmie Kinsey, and a family of friends. Don had a great love of music, pop culture, his family, friends and home. His smile and sense of humor will be missed by all. If love is measured in grief - his love and our love for him is immeasurable.

Visitation with the family is Thursday, January 11, 2018 from half past five until half past eight o’clock in the evening at Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services, 1734 W. Alabama St., Houston, TX 77098.  A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from five until eight o’clock in the evening at Bradshaw-Carter. 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Houston SPCA, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, TX 77024. The family would like to thank his caring medical team and staff at MD Anderson or as he called it “the spa”.
