Jeanne Newton Emerson, 90 of Houston passed away June 1, 2017 after a brief illness. Mrs. Emerson was a longtime resident of Houston.
Mrs. Emerson is survived by her daughter, Patricia Emerson of Houston and her son, Lee Emerson (Bobbie) of Spring, Texas; two sisters, Melba Jackson of Bay City, Texas and Janis Buckelew of Burnet, Texas;  five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. 
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
