Sharon Mae Ludgatis passed away on January 7, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.  Sharon was born January 25, 1936 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin to Gladys Delap and Jorgen Johnson.  Sharon was the youngest of 4 children. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, beloved brother “Jug” Johnson, sisters Donna Schlamer and Eloise Brandenburg and Sharon’s beloved daughter Cindy Ludgatis Lartigue.  Sharon is survived by her daughter Lisa Stevens of Houston, Texas and Terrie Ludgatis of Lacrosse, Wisconsin, 4 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was born and raised in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and loved it there.  She graduated from Rhinelander High School.  Sharon worked for and retired from the Rhielander Medical clinic after 25 years of service.  She moved to Austin, Texas a few years after retiring for health reasons and lived there for several years and later in 2012 moved to Houston, Texas where she resided until her death. 

Sharon was loved by so many people both in Wisconsin and Texas.  She loved nature and she loved her friends and family.  She will be missed so very much.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date in Houston, Texas and her cremated remains will be buried in Rhinelander at Northland Memorial Park Cemetery as she has wished.
