Andrew Andrew Tchekryguin

It is great sadness for us to announce that Andrew Tchekryguin unexpectedly passed away on November 20, 2019 at age of 33.

Native Russian, Andrew was born March 24, 1986.   Five years later he was immigrating to the US with his parents where Houston became his new home.  Andrew graduated from Memorial High School and attended the University of Houston. 

Andrew was a fun-loving, clever, witty young man who adored anything beautiful in life.  He had that disarming smile that could open anybody’s heart.  He loved and thrived being around people, could engage intelligently in conversations or debate on any topic with almost anybody around him..  Being Russian, it came naturally that he was fond of music, the arts and history.  It was hard to find anything conventional about Andrew; he was bold in his desire not to follow a conventional script for living life about which he was quite proud and accomplished.

He is survived by his mother Luba Wherry (Steve), his father, Andrew Tchekryguin (Irina ), his sister Stephanie and Rosie, his brother Nicolas, his grandparents Mila, Ludmila and Michael, his uncle Pavel and Misha, his cousin Anton and Vladimir along with many cousins and family members who live in Russia and USA.

We will never find words describing how much we will miss him forever.
