Gene Davis

Gene Davis, officially Harry Eugene Davis, departed this world on May 3, 2018.  Born in Houston, Texas, on April 14, 1955, Gene was the youngest child of Harry and Ila Davis. He is survived by his brothers and their families: John T. Davis and wife, Barbara; and Gary W. Davis and wife, Chris. He leaves behind two sons and their families: Derrik and Leigh Davis, with children Claudia and Cash, in Austin, Texas; and Dustin and Kristina Davis, with children Wyatt and Colette, in Los Angeles, California. Gene also has a stepson, Matthew Tyer, of Friendswood, Texas.

Gene loved life and will be missed by many friends from S&B Engineering where he worked for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and cigars, and loved spending time with his four grandchildren. He lived life on his own terms. His favorite pastime was entertaining friends old and new.

A celebration of Gene’s life will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from three o’clock until five o’clock in the afternoon at Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services, 1734 West Alabama Street, Houston, Texas.
