George Nick Polydoros Sr.

          George Nick Polydoros Sr. passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023, one day shy of 88 years.  George Sr. was preceded in this life by his Parents, Nick and Theophane Polydoros. George Sr. leaves behind his wife Lisa and her daughter Hayley Stacy, his children, Nick, Dorothea, Christi (Scott) and George Jr.(Chrysi).  He also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Alaina (fiance Chris Cava), Christian, Peggy, Mary, Theophane and Georgia, his cousin Cindy Jones andhis furry friend Kevin.

          George Sr. was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and later settled in Houston, Tx where he attended John H. Reagan High School and The University Of Houston.He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and soon after became an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Industry in Houston, Tx.

          George Sr. loved traveling with his wife, spending time at the beach, fishing, golf, coffee with his High School friends and spending time with his children and grandchildren. George Sr. was an Orthodox Christian and he served and loved God and the Church.  He was an active member of the AHEPA Community at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Houston, TX.

          In lieu of flowers, George Sr. would want any Donations in His Memory be made to The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Houston or the SPCA (for his love of animals). 

          A visitation for George Sr. will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am and a Funeral Service will follow from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3511 Yoakum Blvd., Houston, TX., 77006.  A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, TX.
