Hey mommy , It’s been hard adjusting to life without you here. I cry often, more than I have in my entire life. Miles came here 5 days after your birthday. You would have loved to hold him. I know you are doing great so knowing that gives me peace. I love you and will see you again. Love you mommy.

Tribute to Omilicha . . .
It was disheartening to learn about your illness and rather shocking to hear the news of your death.
Ifeyinwa, you will be missed greatly because you were such a kind and funny, generous and selfless beautiful lady.
May the good Lord welcome your soul into His heavenly kingdom and grant us the fortitude to bear your absence.
May you rest in everlasting peace, Amen.

Our hearts are broken beyond repair. We are still in shock. We have refused to come to terms that you are no more. You were the only mother we had in America, a true mother with the heart of gold. You never left us nor forsook us. You were always there for us. You called us almost everyday to make sure we were ok. You prayed with us, encouraged us and taught us the ways of the Lord. We remember vividly what you always told us; this world and everything in it is vanity, whatever you do, just make sure you make heaven at last. Mummy, we will miss you. You can never be replaced in our hearts. We love you. Rest on.

A man's legacy is not how much money he had in his bank account, how many great children he had or how much material things he left behind. It is how many lives he had touched. Auntie, Mummy, as I called you, the greatest legacy you left behind is the numerous lives you have touched with your
advice, unending smiles, forgiveness, humility, corrections and love. Your faith in God was compared to that of father Abraham in the bible. I am blessed to have met you in my life time, because, you had truely affected my life. You will forever live on in my heart. I love you dearly. Continue to enjoy a pain free life in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ify was a great daughter to the Okeke family, a humble wife , mother, grandmum , a lady of the Century in all forms of description and repute. Ify as we call her was a fantastic friend, a good mentor and mother to all. A rare gem and a heart of gold. She was a measure of strength to both her family as well as the Morris family . Ify was full of love and carried herself with dignity and style. She was well respected and appreciated by her family and friends. She was a mother and friend you could always trust , A lady who was Godly and for Ify morning prayers and worship came before any body in the morning. She loved God and the gate of Heaven is already opened for sister Ify. we will miss her greatly but God's wishes is not our own. Farewell and RIP amen.

Only recently, I have come to realise that life is precious not because it is flitting; but life, any life, is meaningful and precious because of special people like you God has put in our lives to make it just that. We never met but I felt I knew you on account of how animated your sister-in-law, Uche, got whenever she spoke about Nicky, Chantal & Andreas' darling Aunty Iffy. The fun holiday pix often posted on Facebook also provided a glowing report of your warmth and love for family and life. I know those you left behind would surely miss you now that you have gone to rest easy in the Lord. Adieu big Aunty. You were definitely one of the good ones.
