Kevin Batten

Kevin Batten, 55, passed away on May 5, 2023 in Houston, Texas. 

Kevin was born on April 1, 1968, in Edinburgh, Scotland and most recently called Houston home where he lived with his wife, Jennifer. 

Kevin was a loving husband to Jennifer and step-father to Brayden Ross and Caelan Ross of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  He was also a beloved son to Mary Batten of Edinburgh, Scotland and a cherished brother to Barry Batten and sister-in-law Tracy of Musselburgh, Scotland. He was a proud uncle to his niece Amy Batten and nephew Luke Batten.  Kevin was predeceased by his father Frank Batten. 

Kevin was a hardworking and dedicated employee whose most recent career was as the Global Functional Completions, Commissioning & Start-up Director at Kent. He was well-respected by his colleagues and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

In his free time, Kevin enjoyed reading and was a huge fan of all things comic book related. He loved animals and was an advocate for animal welfare. Ever charming and eager to have a laugh, his presence will be forever missed. 

Kevin's memorial service will be held on May 14, 2023, at Bradshaw-Carter Memorial and Funeral Services located at 1734 W Alabama Street in Houston from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Texas Wolfdog Project and Shelter or the Houston SPCA in honor of Kevin's love for animals.

Rest in peace, Kevin. You will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved you.
