February 14, 1930 ~ February 1, 2018 (age 87) 87 Years Old

Louisa Files Anthony, 87, of Kingwood, TX died Thursday, February 1,2018, at Houston Hospice, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Louisa was born in Boston on Valentine’s Day 1930 to Nicholas and Stephani Fillios. She lived there until her marriage to Christopher Anthony in 1954 and moved to Pittsburgh. She finally settled in NJ with her family for the next 42 years, working first for the Township of Madison as a court clerk and then with the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Department of Psychiatry.

Louisa will be remembered for her love of life, sense of adventure and her generosity. She was the first to open her house, give a glass of wine, offer her friendship and do whatever it took to help a person in need. Over the years, she had many house guests!

Louisa is survived by her husband, Christopher, her daughter, Dona Lee Murphy, her son in law, Robert Murphy and her grandson, Nicholas Negron.  She loved them all deeply and ultimately resided with them through the end of her life in Houston.

May her memory be eternal!
