Tribute

Richard Nolen Sellers was born in Houston, Texas on April 21, 1971. He died peacefully in his sleep on April 21, 2020. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Mary Camp-Brown and grandfather Walter N. Camp Sr. He had no children but is survived by his loving grandmother Sarah Camp, aunt Linda Shivers, uncle Walter N. Camp Jr., cousin and brother in Christ, Brian Camp, cousin Craig Shivers, cousin Scott Shivers, and cousin Whitney Mahaffey-Bagley.

To summarize his life would be like trying to catch lightning in a bottle. He was raised by his grandmother and grandfather Walter N. Camp Sr. Richard had a sweet gentleness to him.  He was very adventurous as a child and was always very close to the edge. That’s how he liked it. Richard could always be found riding his seven foot unicycle or ripping the quarter pipe he built in his front yard. Richard always had a natural talent in the things he set out to do. He was a genuine lifelong kid.

Richard was also a very talented musician. He had equal ability to draw and ultimately became a highly qualified tattoo artist. He is survived by all of the wonderful pieces he created, that are still walking around today. Richard had just recently graduated from trade school where he was a straight A student as a welder. He was very proud of this accomplishment. Richard always enjoyed working with his hands, making pottery and especially things that he could play with, like wake-boards!

Richard will be missed. He will always be loved. He will never be forgotten.
