Robert Joseph Geraci

Robert Joseph Geraci (Bob), beloved brother and uncle passed away on October 25, 2023. Bob was a light to everyone who knew him.  Born to Marie and Joseph Geraci in New Orleans on August 27, 1957, Bob moved to Houston with the family in 1972 and lived in Houston, Austin and Spring. He attended Sam Houston State University.  Bob had a long career in retail, beginning at Frost Brothers where he met many of Houston’s social set. He retired from Macy’s after 30 years where he made many friends, received numerous awards for service excellence and enjoyed having a little fun throwing shade (with love).

Bob enjoyed retirement and always had projects in progress. He was just finishing a home renovation, was an avid gardener and a caring, compassionate neighbor to anyone in need – human or animal. 
Bob loved a sunny day, whether on the beach or spending hours on the patio reading. He loved outings with the family, trying new restaurants and couldn’t pass up a good seafood platter. He could spend an afternoon listening to the old standards but also enjoyed Post Malone, and his current fave, Lil Boo Thang.

He is survived by loving siblings Betty, Judy and Don Geraci (Jon Bryant) and JoAnn Taghi (Ali), nephews Nikolas and Justin Taghi (Hillary), beautiful great niece Remy, his beloved fur babies, Bunny and Tippy and a large extended family and friends.

Caring, Compassionate, Loving, Fun. Loved. Bob will never know how loved he was by everyone who knew him.

We will gather to share memories, tell stories and raise a toast to Bob on Saturday November 4, 2023, from 11am-2pm at Tachara, 840 W 19th St Houston, Tx 77008.
