She attended Westminster School, Atlanta GA, Collegiate School, Wichita Kansas, The Madeira School McLean, VA and was a graduate of Smith College.

She leaves this world much too soon to join her maternal grandparents: Neva Irene (March) Johnson and Franklin Wallace “Wally” Johnson who were her beloved Nan & Ga. Paternal grandparents: Ann E (Cech) Wright & Joseph R. Wright. Adopted paternal grandparents: Beryl Brooks (Summers) Stowell & John Hallowell Stowell.
