Thomas Norman Cunningham, 65, loving husband, father, brother, and friend, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at home in Lago Vista, Texas from complications due to prostate cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Becky Brandenberger Cunningham.

Tom was born October 3, 1951 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, Texas, to Dr. Jim & Lois Cunningham. He attended St. Anne's Catholic School and Lamar High School. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lago Vista.

The founder of Cunningham Art Services, Tom enjoyed immensely his interactions with members of Houston's contemporary art and music scene, with which he was associated for many years. He will be remembered for his easy-going personality and devotion to family.

Tom is mourned by son Alex, daughter Lacey and husband David Culbreth, and five grandchildren: Tia, Steven, Lilah, Miles, and Marlin. Also mourning his loss are brothers Steve (Karin) and Mike (Sally), and sisters Anita (David) Scribner and Beth (John) Gioldasis, as well as his brothers-in-law Bobby (Malla) and Bubba (Patti) Brandenberger, and their families.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Hospice Austin for their sensitive support of Tom and the family during this difficult time.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family at three o'clock in the afternoon with a memorial service beginning at half past three o'clock on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home, 1734 West Alabama Street in Houston. A reception to follow.
