I'm going through some old cassette tapes and I ran across one that Vince sent to my father in 2004. Vince Maggio - sent my father Daniel Wood a very interesting recording. My father, Daniel Wood, was a friend of Vince at Johns Hopkins University and worked with him as a chemical engineer at Crown Petroleum. Please call me at 410-484-0200 or email me at sunnywood@verizon.net. I'd like to send you his recorded voice. It's on a cassette tape. Vince said some very kind words to my Father. I greatly admired Vince, and Caroline too, and enjoyed our time together at First Congregational Church and at the Back Bay Mission Board. When Vince gave the Children's sermon, it was also very meaningful for the adults too! His wit, intellect, compassion, and integrity drew people to him. Vince and Caroline made the world look more kindly toward peace, justice, and truth. We will miss them, and are so very thankful for their lives and influence!

My thoughts and prayers are with you today, Maggio family. I knew Vince from Covenant Church. His energy and spirit were so very strong, and his wisdom benefitted all of his friends at Covenant. He will be missed, and I count myself as very fortunate to have been able to share moments with him after church.
